The Performance Exam is the final step in your Level 1 coach education journey. Through this assessment, you’ll demonstrate your ability to apply the ICF core competencies in a real coaching session. Upon successful completion, you’ll receive a Level I certificate and be eligible to apply for the Associate Certified Coach (ACC) credential with the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
This course is part of our Transformational Leadership Coach Education program.
What to Expect
- Submit a recorded coaching session (with a consenting client) for evaluation.
- An ICF-certified examiner will review your session and provide written feedback – no meetings required.
- After you register, you’ll receive clear submission instructions and deadlines.
- Expect results within three weeks of submission.
Program Information
You're ready if:
- You’ve been actively coaching and feel confident in your skills.
- You have a client who consents to being recorded.
- You’re comfortable applying the ICF core competencies in a live coaching session.
Prerequisite
Completion of Part A, Part B and Part C of our program, or an equivalent 30 hours of coach education and 10 hours of mentor coaching.
You may complete your Performance Exam through our program, even if you have done your training through another organization.
