Mentor Coaching is a transformative part of our journey to becoming an impactful, confident and authentic coach. This component is designed to strengthen your mastery of the ICF core competencies while helping you refine your unique coaching identity. Through personalized one-on-one support and small-group learning, you’ll receive the feedback and insight you need to advance your practice with clarity and confidence.
This course is part of our Transformational Leadership Coach Education program.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of this course, you will be able to:
- Enhance Coaching Expertise Through Reflection and Practice: Consolidate prior coaching education by engaging in group discussions, reflective exercises and practical coaching scenarios.
- Develop and Confidently Demonstrate the ICF 8 Core Competencies: Deepen understanding and practical application of the International Coaching Federation's (ICF) 8 Core Competencies through review in both group and 1:1 settings.
- Build Confidence in Your Signature Presence As A Coach: Receive feedback on how to develop and refine a unique coaching style that embodies confidence, authenticity and alignment with the ICF Core Competencies.
- Gain Personalized Insights for Continuous Growth: Identify areas of strength and opportunities for development through customized feedback aligned with the ICF 8 Core Competencies.
- Design Practical Steps for Professional Advancement: Establish a clear action plan to improve coaching impact and effectiveness, tailored to individual growth areas and goals.
- Prepare for the ICF Coach Performance Evaluation: Build confidence in your ability to successfully meet the ICF Coach Performance Evaluation standards.
Program Structure
Part C: Mentor Coaching includes:
- Three two-hour group sessions – six hours
- Four one-hour, one-on-one sessions with your mentor coach – four hours
Total: Ten ICF-approved coach education hours
What to Expect
- Individualized mentoring aligned with your development goals and coaching style.
- Supportive small-group sessions for shared learning, reflection and skill refinement.
- A customized development plan to help you increase your effectiveness and professional impact.
- Video submission of your practice coaching sessions prior to each one-on-one session, with clear guidance provided by your mentor coach.
Program Information
- Fulfills the ICF requirement of 10 hours of mentor coaching.
- Must be completed over a minimum of three months and no more than six months (as per ICF guidelines).
- This course meets the ICF mentor coaching requirement for the ACC credential.
- Please note: Mentor coaching hours do not count as coach education hours under ICF standards.

Your registration fee includes a comprehensive printed workbook, filled with course content, helpful resources, reflective activities and space for personal notes. No additional textbook is required.
Prerequisite
Completion of Part A and Part B of our program, or an approved equivalent foundational training in the ICF core competencies.
