·ï»Ë²ÊƱƽ̨’s five-year Strategic Academic Plan was developed through a university-wide consultative process over 2022/23 and was approved by the university Senate in the fall of 2023.
Led by the Office of the Provost and Vice-President: Academic, this plan is based on broad consultations with the deans, faculty, librarians, staff and senior leadership. More than 400 members of the ·ï»Ë²ÊƱƽ̨ community provided feedback on a preliminary draft in the 2022/23 academic year.
The consultations and feedback resulted in the development of three goals:
- Advancing Transformative Education
- Thriving Comprehensive University
- Communities Integrated into a Vibrant Whole
Each goal has clearly articulated objectives to help guide the academic work at the university. The Strategic Academic Plan will establish ·ï»Ë²ÊƱƽ̨ as an institution for transformative education in the years to come.
